At least provide different widget buttons (I know this sounds harsh, but having a Great icon for chat makes a huge difference in branding) Whenever you see a Intercomm icon you recognize it. Minimalistic approach and bold icon =)

When I saw the first mockups from @Andy, I couldn’t describe what was “off” in my mind… then I saw that post from @Tayshiro Kudo where he stated “I think the main white bubble should be centered and the second one be in background not affecting the layout.” and then I when I saw his mocks I was like… YES! THAT’S IT!

Fast forward… i love the new mockups Andy. The ones with no background seemed a little more balanced. But the squared ones still seemed a little off balance.

Again… looking at the latest mocks from Tayshiro, and his comments… I’m in complete agreement with his sentiment… and his new screenshot really illustrates the point.

I would say… you’re 99% there… just take that advice from @Tayshiro Kudo into consideration and that will get you that last 1% of the way!

One other thought… if it’s not too hard to integrate with font-awesome or some other similar free tool, it would be really nice to be able to change the icon to any of the options in their library. Though I do think your compontent approach is cute, and offers some unique options.

We really appreciate you allowing us to add a hex code to allow color to match our branding! 🙌

How soon could this possibly get pushed to production? Are we a long way out?

Using font-awesome for this is a great idea. We are looking at integrating it with our multiple choice object so if we can tastfully add it to the widget, I am sure we could do it 😊

I wouldn’t be able to give an accurate estimate but I would like to think in the next few weeks but just keep checking here on the roadmap!

I feel now that these icons will give Continually a better idenfication by visitors!

Yes, I think your last batch of icons look awesome, Andy!

Having the font awesome option would be a “cherry on top” bonus, but I would be ecstatic even with the basic functionality and options you’ve presented in your mockups!
